Acting on behalf of the owners, we are delighted to offer for sale the Explorer 58 Pilot House ?PELICANO?. This fine motor yacht was built and commissioned by us for its current owners in 2017 and is the flagship model of the Explorer ?Pilot House? range. ?PELICANO? is based in Hong Kong and has been used by its private owners for family cruising in and around the harbour and the magnificent local islands.

The Explorer 58 Pilot House has an exceptionally high standard specification these owners took the opportunity to take that much further with the inclusion of the hydraulic bathing platform, upgraded generator, stunning blue hull and a host of other custom additions to the standard specification.

If you are looking for a top quality, semi-displacement motor yacht with superb cruising performance and a high specification, ?PELICANO? comes highly recommended.

The deck layout offers everything you would expect to find in a serious semi-displacement cruising yacht design. Safety and comfort at sea is at the very heart of all Explorer models and paramount to your enjoyment and feeling of security whilst on-board. The Explorer 58 Pilot House delivers both superb sea-keeping qualities and fantastic directional stability from the long central keel.

The 58 Pilot House has a deep and safe cockpit, wide side decks giving all round ease of access and a spacious flybridge with fully repeated controls and twin flybridge access from either the cockpit or the wheelhouse. With wheelhouse side-deck access, twin bulwark boarding doors, a large transom door and with the use of oversize deck fittings, handling at sea, mooring or anchoring of this fine trawler yacht is a pure joy.

The large cockpit with its solid teak decking is the perfect place for entertaining whether in port, at anchor or sitting and enjoying the view whilst underway at sea. With high bulwark coamings and a large flybridge overhang, this is a safe, protected and exceptionally comfortable space. Large sliding glass rear doors lead to the saloon and a transom door takes you straight out onto the hydraulic bathing platform.

Access to the flybridge is via a beautiful, hand crafted stainless steel ladder with solid teak treads. For al-fresco dining, C-Shaped seating wraps around a large gloss varnished folding table with plenty of room for comfortably seating 6 or 8 family members and guests in pure luxury.

When you consider flybridge design on a 58 foot motor yacht we think this is as good as it gets. With dual access from either the cockpit or the pilot house, this flybridge is safe, spacious, comfortable, well protected by the large hard top and extremely secure with stainless steel solid
guard rails. All-round visibility is superb and the helm position is a pure joy with everything compactly placed and perfectly to hand.

Aft of the helm position to starboard is a wonderful wet bar with stainless steel sink, grill and refrigerator, perfect for entertaining and in the shade of the hard top. Like the cockpit there is more than ample seating and a beautiful folding dining table. Aft of everything is a vast area with custom
made Sunbrella sunbathing pads for that little extra luxury.

It is difficult to describe the saloon on ?Pelicano? without considering the complete main deck accommodation as a whole. The saloon does indeed offer everything you expect and deserve with beautiful wrap around seating, fantastic visibility, full entertainments systems, powerful
air-conditioning and plenty of storage, but then when you introduce the rest of the main deck area you have a truly fantastic layout.

There is a seamless transition from inside to out through sliding glass doors to the cockpit. There are separate interior stairs to the flybridge and three steps takes you effortlessly into the open and spacious area of the galley and raised pilot house, this area offers its own separate ambiance whilst still being part of the main saloon space, all together as one and this is genuinely a very special interior arrangement.

Located centrally in the very heart of the raised pilot house area, and midway between the saloon and helm station, the 58 galley is ideally placed to equally serve the pilot house dinette, flybridge and saloon thus making this area an integral part of on-board living. Only the highest quality appliances, fixtures and fittings have been used and there is more than ample storage and work surface areas.

The fit-out is complete with stainless steel fronted fridge and freezer, combination oven, induction hob, extractor fan and granite worktops. This is a galley to be proudly on show, it is a focal point in the deck level accommodation, exceptionally spacious and will allow for gourmet catering and entertaining at the highest of levels.

We believe the layout of the Explorer 58 pilot house area and interior helm station satisfies every possible requirement for a pilot house motor yacht of this size. The first thing you notice is superb allround visibility whether looking forward or aft, there is easy and direct access to the flybridge with the interior staircase and a side deck access door for ease of mooring and anchoring.
Whether underway, at anchor or in port, the stylish dinette area provides comfortable seating for dining or for simply enjoying the view.

As you would expect, the helm station is beautifully arranged with all instruments and controls comfortably to hand and easily visible from the steering position. This is a ?showcase? arrangement of what you should expect and deserve in a quality yacht.

The generous beam of the Explorer 58 Pilot House design allows for the most sumptuously comfortable midship master cabin and wonderful ensuite bathroom. With a large transverse double bed, full air-conditioning, extra-large opening hull ports and soft panel lining to the headboard,
forward bulkhead and ceiling, this is a beautifully light, bright and airy cabin.

The volume of this cabin allows for masses of storage with bedside cabinets, separate vanity/desk unit and a full height wardrobe. There is even more storage under the bed in two large pull out drawer units. Facing the foot of the double bed is a wall mount recessed TV, there are
also ceiling mounted stereo speakers all of which create the feeling that this space really is ?home from home?.

The luxury of the midship master cabin continues in the en-suite bathroom. Accessed via a full height sliding panel door, this is a three compartment bathroom running the complete length of the master cabin. The central area offers a beautiful vanity and washing area with solid ceramic sink and countertop, a large opening port and mirrored overhead ceiling with integral spotlights.

Forward of this through an opaque glass door is a mosaic tiled shower compartment with solid teak floor grating and GRP moulded shower head unit. Aft, again through an opaque glass door, is a spacious toilet compartment with electric flush WC. This is an exceptionally well appointed bathroom with top quality fittings and equipment and all befitting the luxury of the midship master cabin.

The beautiful forward VIP guest cabin features a large raised centre line double bed with the benefit of an opening overhead hatch, two large opening hull ports and of course full air-conditioning. This is a cabin suitable for the most discerning of guests. There is more than ample storage in this cabin with a three-quarter height wardrobe, numerous cupboards and lockers and pull out drawers under the bed.

Either side of the centreline double bed are raised steps for ease of access and open side shelves for storage. Facing the foot of the bed is a recessed flat screen TV. In the forward area of this cabin are two beautiful diamond veneered doors, the centreline door leads out of the cabin and the other to the en-suite guest bathroom.

From the initial concept designs of this boat, the owners of ?Pelicano? were very clear in their desire to be able to invite guests ?and? their children to enjoy everything this boat has to offer and the wonderful cruising in and around Hong Kong harbour.

As well as the aft crew quarters with two single beds (accessed via the bathing platform) ?Pelicano? uniquely features a third guest cabin with four bunked single beds separated by a three-quarter height wardrobe. There are two opening hull ports in this cabin for ventilation and light and directly opposite the cabin is access to the guest bathroom and shower. This cabin surely represents the absolute ultimate sleep-over/den space of any boat of this size (If you can ever get them to go to sleep).
